We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join Atkins

Réalis and deliver innovative water and wastewater solutions across Ontario.

• Lead water and wastewater process design team in preliminary and detailed engineering design packages, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Develop pumping stations, tanks, and reservoirs for process design.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to prepare engineering design packages.
• Project‑manage deliverables to ensure quality, timeliness, and budget compliance.
• Participate in water and wastewater proposal preparation and business‑development activities.
• Lead, guide, and mentor intermediate and junior staff.

• University degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Registered Professional Engineer with PEO.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Proven expertise and advanced knowledge in pumping and treatment technologies; recognised as a technical leader.
• Familiarity with municipal and provincial design standards in Ontario and Canada.
• MS Office skills – Word, Excel, Outlook.

Expected compensation for this role is between $100,000 and $130,000 annually (Ontario). Base salaries are determined based on skills, experience, potential impact, and internal and external competitiveness.
