As a key executive, reporting directly to the COO, you will enforce rigorous engineering practices and operational strategies across Wesdome’s underground mines.
Your role encompasses driving technical capabilities and governance while promoting best practices for continuous improvement in mining operations and corporate planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer technical expertise in mining engineering practices
• Ensure operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner in developing budgets and planning life of mine strategies
• Supervise reserve updates and serve as a Qualified Person
• Streamline knowledge sharing among engineering teams
Requirements:
• Degree in Mining Engineering; P.Eng. is a must
• Minimum of 10 years in mining operations leadership
• Deep knowledge in underground mining and engineering principles
• Solid experience in operational reporting and governance
• Bilingualism in English and French is preferred
