About the RoleWe’re looking for an experienced, passionate, and critical‑thinking Production Manager to lead the production of our flagship SSI experiences. The Lead Producer will manage a team of Associate and Junior producers, ensuring high‑quality events are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of event/project productions, including pre‑production logistics planning, hiring, onsite execution, and post‑event wrap‑up.
- Oversee multiple concurrent productions, scaling Fever Originals SSI events to meet team targets.
- Develop and manage event production budgets, optimizing resources, identifying revenue opportunities and cost‑saving measures.
- Lead and support local producers, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Source and manage freelancers, vendors, and service providers, ensuring delivery quality aligns with company standards.
- Conduct venue research and booking, negotiate contracts with venues, third‑party vendors, and talent.
- Create production timelines and ensure adherence to schedules.
- Secure proper permits, insurance, and perform risk assessments in accordance with local regulations.
- Handle administrative duties, including expense reports, invoicing, and contract work with the legal department.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to align on event deliverables.
- Work with the Project Management team to meet client expectations and standards.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required.
- 5+ years of experience in live event or experience production, with a proven track record.
- 1–2 years of people management experience.
- Experience as a production or project manager for theatre, dance, or similar environments, overseeing third‑party vendors and contractors is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, adaptable in fast‑paced environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and integrate various event elements efficiently.
- Proven vendor negotiation skills, budget management, and permitting expertise.
- Understanding of fabrication processes.
- Curious, eager to learn, and willing to push boundaries and try new concepts.
- Solution‑focused mindset with a talent for identifying problems and developing resolutions.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and a hands‑on approach.
- 30‑minute video call with a Talent Acquisition Manager.
- 60‑minute online test covering logic, analytics, and written comprehension.
- 30‑minute interview with the hiring manager.
- 45‑minute video call with the future manager, including a business case presentation.
Salary: CA $50,000 – CA $60,000. Locations:
Vancouver, Toronto, or Montreal (preferred).
