Financial Accounting Analyst

Location: Scarborough (Hybrid – 1 day remote)

Salary: $80,000–$85,000 + 5% bonus

We are seeking an Accounting & Financial Analyst to join a well-established, project-driven organization. This role supports the accounting team through month-end close, financial reporting, and cash flow analysis, while partnering with FP&A. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, strong in Excel, and brings a positive, collaborative attitude.

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Perform variance analysis and investigate financial fluctuations
• Assist with financial reporting and management analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis
• Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts
• Assist with audit requests and internal controls

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–6 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, analysis, reporting)
• Experience with reconciliations and journal entries

• Experience in a project-based or asset-intensive environment
• ERP experience (Oracle, SAP, or similar)
• Exposure to FP&A or financial modeling
• CPA designation is an asset but not required
