Caregiver – Special Dementia Case
Join Com Forcare Home Care (Toronto-Central) as a caregiver for an elderly lady with dementia. The role involves providing non‑medical home care and assisting with personal hygiene over 12‑hour shifts at a downtown location.
Responsibilities- Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
- Provide companionship and support to an elderly client with dementia.
- Maintain a calm, reassuring environment and communicate effectively.
- Attend 12‑hour shifts covering day and evening periods.
- Follow care plans and report client status to supervisors.
- Experience working with dementia patients is preferred but not required.
- Can be a PSW, nursing student, foreign-trained nurse or caregiver.
- Calm, talkative, with a love of elderly people.
- Height no taller than 5’2”.
- Able to work 12‑hour shifts in downtown Toronto.
- Availability to cover shifts as needed.
