Job DescriptionThe Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is the main interface between Sirtex and its customers, responsible for prospecting and initiating new accounts and servicing existing ones. The RSM has ultimate account responsibility, meeting sales quota, and supports regulatory requirements by conveying customer needs and reporting incidents or product complaints.
Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Salary: CAD 75,000 – CAD 90,000 per year.
- Develop and implement account plans for key accounts to generate sales within assigned territory, including presentations and training.
- Deliver selling presentations and on-site product demonstrations to physicians and other health care professionals.
- Develop an understanding of the market unique to the assigned territory.
- Continuously educate oneself on latest information related to disease states and the changing business environment.
- Develop relationships across the hospital network key to Sirtex.
- Cultivate relations with Health Care Providers that manage patient candidates.
- Manage and exceed business targets within the assigned territory.
- Execute strategies to achieve business targets.
- Ensure compliance with Adva Med.
- Execute business meetings with HCPs.
- Create and maintain accurate records and sales reports.
- Other duties as needed to help the team.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of medical device sales experience, with strong preference for interventional radiology.
- Experience with practice and program development and working with Key Opinion Leaders.
- Ability to effectively interact with a variety of health care professionals and articulate a clinical sales message.
- Proven track record of sales success, including recognition awards.
- Previous relationships with Interventional Radiologists a plus.
- Business development skills with the ability to generate referrals from oncology team members.
- Ability to build and maintain solid working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Willingness to cover medical procedures as needed.
- Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and resourcefulness.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑motivated with excellent organization, time management and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and virtual engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and follow‑through.
- Current valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Resides in and be able to travel within the assigned territory.
- Travel 50–65% including weekends/holidays as needed.
Requires sitting, walking and standing for prolonged periods, possible exposure to radiation and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
