As the face of Teva Canada Medical Affairs, the MSL is the field based scientific expert who leads scientific exchange with External Experts (EEs) and provides education to health care providers (HCPs) on Teva Canada products (Central Nervous System such Migraine, Multiple Sclerosis, Movement Disorders), as well as advances in research and clinical practice. The objective is to disseminate scientifically rigorous data, providing medical and technical expertise to ensure awareness and appropriate use of Teva Canada products.
The MSL will also be prepared to provide best-in‑class scientific and project support for internal, cross‑functional initiatives and scientific insight/training to assist Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs colleagues. All activities will be executed in alignment with medical strategies developed by Teva Canada Medical Affairs Team.
- Provide HCPs with concise and unbiased medical and scientific information (within corporate guidelines) including disease state topics of interest as well as safe and appropriate use of TCI products;
- Execute scientific/educational presentations to EEs/HCPs within their therapeutic area setting, at medical or commercial advisory boards, and speaker training meetings;
- Develop peer‑to‑peer relationships with EEs and HCPs that result in scientific understanding of TCI products, therapeutic area, disease states, and opportunities for partnerships;
- Demonstrate scientific credibility during internal Medical Affairs therapeutic training events (e.g., MSL Journal Clubs, teleconferences and Data Crunch meetings);
- Provide support for research initiatives including, but not limited to: TCI-sponsored trials;
Investigator-sponsored studies; and Health Economics and Outcomes Research.
- MD, PhD, or Pharm
D; - Strong English communication skills, with a solid understanding of pharmaceutical industry practices and standard medical practices within the assigned therapeutic area(s);
- A minimum of one year of experience in neurology or psychiatry in a Medical Affairs role is considered an asset.

The typical hiring range for this position is from $108,960-$136,200 annually. The base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and internal equity.
