* What You’ll Do:

*** Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography examinations in accordance with infectious disease, sterilization and patient safety protocols, policies and procedures.
* Review patient medical history, evaluate contraindications, obtain patient consent, perform required ultrasound examinations and document findings.
* Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and basic quality control checks.
* Ensure sonography exam results meet facility standards for quality assurance.
* Coordinate with cross functional clinic teams to ensure exceptional service and client experience.

* What You’ll Need:

*** 1+ years of experience as a sonographer performing examinations such as abdominal exams
* Breast, transvaginal and transrectal experience required
* Member of the CMRITO
* Ultrasound ARDMS certification
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

This is a part-time role working each Saturday during clinic hours of 7am - 7pm. The shift is 8.5 hours in length.

Our downtown Toronto clinic is conveniently located at 150 York St., which is nearby St. Andrew station or a 10-minute walk from Union Station!
** Position Pay Range**$35.43 - $48.72 CADPay will be determined based on an analysis of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications within the role's compensation grade. Medcan's compensation ranges are determined by a combination of required qualifications and skills, market value, and internal equity. The above range pertains solely to the base compensation and is not inclusive of additional compensation details such as perks, benefits, and potential bonuses or incentives.
