Overview

Database Administrator – Senior

Fully Onsite - 5 days per week - downtown Toronto
5 month contract

Must Have

• Oracle E-Business Suite installation and configuration experience
• Experience and expert knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite (multi-tier implementation).
• Expertise required in Oracle E-Business Suite installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrade and cloning. migrating e-Business Suite Applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. migrating Oracle technologies from Unix (Solaris) to Oracle Enterprise

Nice to have

• Experience and expert knowledge of Oracle Application and Database Server and Oracle Grid Control.
• Expertise required in installation, patching, diagnosing system performances, monitoring and database server troubleshooting

Skills and Competencies Required for the two Sr. Database Administrators

• Oracle E-Business Suite installation and confguration experience - 40%
• Experience and expert knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite (multi-tier implementation).
• Expertise required in Oracle E-Business Suite installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrade and cloning. migrating e-Business Suite Applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. migrating Oracle technologies from Unix (Solaris) to Oracle Enterprise Linux / Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.x/6.x/7. Knowledge of OUD, OID, DIP, ODSM EBS Webgate and Access gate
• Knowledge in installation and configuration of iSupplier in R12.2
• Knowledge of Configuring Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 Using Logical Host
• Knowledge of supporting SSO as part of EBS installation
• knowledge of Advanced Compression, Data partitioning processes
• Knowledge of Online patching

Oracle Application and Database Server and Oracle Grid Control experience - 15%

• Experience and expert knowledge of Oracle Application and Database Server and
• Oracle Grid Control.
• Expertise required in installation, patching, diagnosing system performances, monitoring and database server troubleshooting

Unix (Solaris) experience - 15%

• Knowledge of Unix (Solaris) Experience in high availability/clustering, load balancing.
• Knowledge of using Unix commands to resolve performance related issues;
• Experience in performing installations, maintenance and monitoring of Oracle database, Oracle E-Business Suite and other Oracle products

Analytical and problem solving skills - 15%

• Provide technical solutions for business requirements;
• Diagnose Oracle performance problems;
• Provide technical solutions to infrastructure related issues.

Oracle Data Guard experience - 15%

• Experience and expert knowledge of Oracle Data guard application, implementation, testing and configuration.
