Jr. Sharepoint Developer​/Systems Analyst

The following career opportunity for a Jr, Portal Developer/Systems Analyst in the Microsoft SharePoint/.NET technologies space is currently available with the Application Technology Delivery:
Corporate Systems team.

The Jr. Developer will work in a team environment to implement business solutions and proactively maintain the Portal.

• Proactively support, administer and maintain the Portal and related sites, utilizing Microsoft technologies and 3rd party/custom web parts in order to meet SLA targets.
• Participate in incident investigations and problem resolution to production issues.
• Gather, analyze and document business requirements for operational and tactical solutions leveraging the Portal and related infrastructure.
• Build, test, document and implement operational, tactical and strategic solutions within the Portal and related infrastructure.
• Installation, configuration, maintenance and performance tuning of systems environment components and application.
• Ability to work independently and closely with peers within a team environment.

Must have:

• Minimum 2-years experience with Web design/development, Portal/Collaboration, Content Management and Application Development with Microsoft technologies
• Technical experience and in-depth knowledge of:
• SPS/WSS/
• C#.NET/ASP.NET
• CSS/HTML/XHTML/DHTML
• SQL/SQL Server
• Web Services .NET Frameworks
• XML/Infopath/AD/SMTP
• Visual Studio, Source Safe, PVCS, VPC, Front Page, IIS, Windows Advanced Server (Microsoft’s Server Suite)
• Experience in Portal design/implementation, administration, capacity planning and system integration using Microsoft technologies
• Experience with Internet/Intranet and Collaboration technologies
• The ability to carry forward tasks with minimal supervision
• Proficient English written and verbal skills
• Excellent documentation skills (preliminary analysis, design, program specifications, test plans, etc.)
• Good interpersonal skills
• The ability to collaborate and share ideas in a team environment
• The ability to organize and plan own work
