Accenture’s SAP practice invites you to join our team as a SAP Senior ABAP Developer
. We innovate with design thinking, agile development, and smart tech such as IoT, automation, and AI, helping clients achieve significant wins.

You will be a transformation expert, comfortable working in teams and leading projects while deeply configuring SAP systems. Travel to client sites is expected, and you will design and maintain scalable, maintainable solutions that align with SAP Clean Core principles.

• Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF), and Object-Oriented ABAP on HANA.
• Implement SAP Clean Core principles by leveraging standard APIs, CDS Views, and extensibility frameworks.
• Apply enhancement approaches such as In-App Extensibility (Key User tools, Custom Fields & Logic), Side-by-Side Extensibility (SAP BTP, CAP, APIs), and the Enhancement Framework (BADIs, User Exits, Implicit/Explicit Enhancements).
• Develop and optimize SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and integrate with backend systems.
• Ensure code quality, performance tuning, and compliance with SAP guidelines.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Design and implement integration solutions for SAP S/4
  
  HANA using IDoc, RFC, BAPI, OData services, SAP Gateway, CPI, APIs, and event-driven architecture.

• Minimum 6 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP Objects, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, OData services, and SAP Gateway.
• Expertise in SAP Clean Core approach and extensibility options (In-App, Side‑by‑Side).
• Strong understanding of enhancement approaches in SAP S/4
  
  HANA aligned with Clean Core.
• Experience with SAP HANA, CDS Views, and performance optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline.
• English proficiency required for regular interaction with stakeholders across Canada, the U.S., and other countries.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
• Strong understanding of integration options with SAP S/4
  
  HANA (IDoc, RFC, CPI, APIs).
• Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Experience in S/4
  
  HANA environment.
• Knowledge of SAP Workflow and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and Dev Ops tools.

Role Location – Annual Salary Range:

• British Columbia/Ontario: $69,450 to $119,450

• Mid‑Senior level
