Lead the assessment, design, and implementation of post‑quantum cryptography strategies. Provide expert knowledge of classical cryptographic algorithms (RSA, ECC, AES, SHA, etc.) and their application across systems. Guide the creation of a cryptographic bill of materials (CBOM) and perform crypto‑inventory and risk categorization for enterprise systems. Evaluate and recommend post‑quantum cryptographic algorithms (NIST candidates, hybrid models, lattice‑based, hash‑based, code‑based, multivariate, etc.).
Develop migration roadmaps from classical cryptography to PQC or hybrid cryptographic approaches. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate PQC solutions into databases, applications, PKI systems, and cloud environments. Stay up to date with NIST PQC standardization efforts, industry best practices, and emerging threats. Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical direction to junior cryptography engineers and security professionals. Partner with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and data protection frameworks.
