Solutions Designer Senior
Duration: 121 + 249 Business days
Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)

Assignment Deliverables
  • Working with any one or more of the technologies below, the consultants will participate in the coding and development of the migration components including: user interface, data services, data synchronization, and deployment services.
  • Participate in the migration/and or rebuild design, development, unit / system testing and deployment of SharePoint using Microsoft development platform and tools
  • Participate in project design and application JAD sessions / walkthroughs
  • Create code modules, as well as other necessary system scripts and modules
  • Develop documentation for testing, implementation, defect tracking as per OPS standards.
  • Participate in, document and configure output from application design sessions
  • Participate in the Unit / System / Integration Testing
  • Development of user authentication and access component according to predefined business rules
  • Design and development of user and system interface(s)
  • Preparation of install package and install books as required
  • Provide input and complete documentation for the application deployment plan for the production environment
  • Estimates for assigned tasks and percent complete
  • Develop and/or update technical documentations, and provide input for User Guide & Training Guide
  • The consultant will provide a detailed list of all work/artifacts completed on the project
  • Attend any meetings related to the resolution of any request as required
  • Ensures knowledge transfer to internal staff that is, upon leaving the project, the consultant will transfer over all information/research/code/documents, etc. To the client

  • Undertake special assignments/sub-projects as assigned

  • .NET experience
  • Migrations, e.G. Using Share Gate migration tool
  • Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Azure Logic Apps workflows
  • XML
  • MS Web Services
  • SharePoint Webparts such KWIZcom webparts
  • Experience in programming and analysis at the specified experience level
  • Experience in structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation and maintenance of applications and web sites

SharePoint Experience- 40 Points
  • Demonstrated migration experience of solution from one SP platform to another including unit testing and support (SP 2010/2013/online and .NET)
  • Experience in creating code modules, as well as other necessary system scripts and Powershell
  • Experience with .NET framework, programming languages (Visual Studio, C#, ASP .NET and )
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of user authentication and access components
  • Demonstrated experience automating tasks using workflows
Criteria 2:
Technical Skills - 40 Points
  • Experience in designing, developing, testing and implementing SharePoint 2013/ online and .NET applications
  • Experience using migration tools, e.G. Share Gate applications, Power Shell
  • Demonstrated experience with using SharePoint 2013 Designer tools
  • Experience with RDMS and SQL queries, views and stored procedures
  • Demonstrated experience SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
  • Demonstrated experience with Azure Logic Apps
  • Demonstrated experience with Power Apps/Power Automate
  • Demonstrated experience with accessibility (AODA) requirements.
Criteria 3:
Documentation and Testing Skills - 20

Points
  • Experience in project design and application JAD sessions / walkthroughs
  • Experience in with software architecture documentation
  • Experience in with Use Cases, Class diagrams, component diagrams, state diagram etc.
  • Experience in developing documentation for testing, implementation, defect tracking and resolution
  • Experience in documentation and configuration of output from application design sessions
