Data Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with a strong background in ETL/ELT development and data warehousing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with various data platforms and cloud environments, as well as a solid understanding of data processing across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test ETL/ELT workflows to support enterprise data integration and transformation needs

Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis

Leverage tools such as SSIS, AWS Glue, and cloud-based storage and computing services (AWS, Azure)

Work with big data technologies including Hadoop and Netezza

Handle batch and real-time/streaming data processing for a variety of data formats

Conduct data analysis, mapping, and profiling to ensure data quality and integrity

Collaborate in Agile environments and contribute to sprint planning, standups, and task tracking using JIRA

Qualifications:

Proven experience in ETL/ELT and data warehouse architecture

Strong command of SQL and data transformation logic

Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern data tools

Experience in Agile development methodologies
