Job Summary The IT Analyst, Data Visualization, BI development, and reporting are to empower organizations with timely, accurate, and actionable intelligence by transformingplex data into clear insights through innovative analysis and visualization tools. This role involves developing end-to-end reporting solutions, from data collection and transformation to report generation and visualization. The Analyst prioritizes data quality and accessibility to help stakeholders make confident, data-driven decisions, leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and predictive modeling to drive business insights

Proficiency in Data Management Tools:
Expertise in data warehousing, business intelligence, and data visualization tools.

Data Architecture:
Strong understanding of database architecture and data modeling.

Data Analytics:
Ability to develop and maintain data analytics capabilities, including data visualization, reporting, and dashboards.

Data Security:
Implementing data security measures to protect sensitive data.

Data Quality:
Developing and implementing data quality control processes to ensure data accuracy,pleteness, and consistency.

Programming

Skills:

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for developing custom visualizations.

Business Acumen:
Understanding of business operations and data-driven decision-making.

Project Management

Skills:

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Analytical

Skills:

Ability to analyzeplex data sets, identify trends, and make data-driven rmendations.

Collaboration:

Working closely with various departments to meet their specific data needs.

Other skills

Experience in data reporting and visualization in mining/heavy industry

8+ years BI/visualization experience

Expert knowledge of:
Modern BI platforms and tools, Data visualization best practices, SQL and data modeling, Mining operations metrics

Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles

Stakeholder management andmunication skills

Change management experience.

Business process understanding

Effectivemunication and presentation skills to effectively convey data-driven insights to stakeholders.

Understanding of the business domain to provide relevant insights and rmendations.

Effectivemunication skills with the ability to conveyplex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights and opportunities from data.

Basic project management skills to plan, execute, and deliver data science projects on time and within scope.

Ability to deal with ambiguity in an agile way, adjusting to shifting business needs and priorities.
