Toronto – hybrid 7.25 hrs/day (Mon‑Fri 8:00‑5:00). Up to 3 days onsite.

About the Engagement
Akkodis seeks a highly experienced Senior UX Researcher to lead user and customer experience research initiatives for a public sector client. The ideal candidate excels in UX/CX research methodologies, Design Ops process optimization, and documentation to drive user‑centered design strategies.

Scope

Collaborate with CX and UX Senior Managers and Leads to analyze workflows, processes, and templates, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.

Partner with Privacy, Security, Legal, and Product teams to define requirements for obtaining one‑time approvals for repeatable CX/UX processes.

Formalize and document efficient, repeatable research and design processes for CX and UX teams.

Plan and facilitate feedback sessions with teams and partners to ideate solutions and validate proposed processes and templates.

Insights Report

Expertise Required
Must Have

8+ years’ experience with UX/CX research methodologies (interviews, personas, surveys, customer journeys, usability testing, feedback loops).

6+ years’ experience with Design Operations and related process management/optimization.

Strong documentation skills.

Nice to Have

Proficiency in strategic decision‑making related to design and research operations.

Solid understanding of research tools and appropriate use.

Experience with digital whiteboarding and collaboration tools such as Mural, Miro, or Fig Jam.

Security Clearance  – Required.
