Skills and Responsibilities:

Power BI Senior Developer Hands on expert who builds high quality Power BI reports dashboards, optimizes DAX and data models, and delivers business-ready insights.

Owns complex visuals, performance, and data shaping partners closely with analysts and data engineers to turn requirements into reliable, efficient BI assets.

Transform requirements into Power Query transformations, data models, DAX measures, and polished visuals.

Star snowflake modeling, column vs measure choices, aggregations, incremental refresh, composite models.

DAX Expression writes readable, maintainable measures optimize calculation chains and filter context.

Robust ETL within Power Query (M), parameterization, and reusable functions for source variability.

Optimize visuals, query plans, relationships, and Performance Analyzer findings reduce dataset size.

Row-Level Security (RLS) and object-level security validate access scenarios with stakeholders.

Workspace data set setup, refresh scheduling, gateway connectivity, deployment via stages (Dev Test Prod). unit tests for DAX logic, regression checks after changes, validation against source-of-truth. data dictionary, measuring catalog, usage notes, and support FAQs. iterative demos, feedback incorporation, and training power users on report usage.
