We are seeking a Salesforce Release Engineer to manage and optimize the end-to-end release lifecycle for Salesforce applications within a telecom environment. This role requires strong proficiency in Salesforce metadata, packaging strategies, CI/CD tools, and telecom-specific Salesforce solutions. You will be responsible for designing release processes, maintaining deployment pipelines, and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure, and compliant releases.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full Salesforce release process including sandbox environments, version control, and deployment flows
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, Jenkins, Copado, or Gearset
Coordinate deployments across development, QA, staging, and production environments with minimal downtime
Implement governance standards, change control practices, rollback strategies, and audit compliance
Troubleshoot release and deployment issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions
Maintain clear documentation for release workflows, environment configurations, and deployment procedures
Stay informed on Salesforce platform updates and evaluate impact on existing implementations
Support integrations between Salesforce and telecom-specific systems such as billing, provisioning, and CRM platforms
Technical Profile
4+ years of experience in Salesforce release engineering or Dev Ops
Proficient with Salesforce metadata types, deployment tools, and packaging models
Hands-on expertise in Git-based version control and CI/CD automation tools
Deep experience with Salesforce DX, scratch orgs, and unlocked packages
Familiarity with telecom industry workflows and Salesforce Communications Cloud
Working knowledge of Jenkins, Copado, Gearset, and related Dev Ops platforms
Understanding of release governance and compliance protocols
Functional Profile
Experience collaborating across technical and non-technical teams in enterprise environments
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence
Ability to document and communicate technical workflows and governance standards
Telecom business process understanding, especially for Salesforce-integrated systems
Effective communicator with strong attention to detail and problem-solving focus

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $37.37/hour - $58.39/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
