The Opportunity
Our client is seekinga
Business Systems Analyst to support the transition of over 200 reports and applications from a legacy Microsoft AX system to a new ERP. This role requires a technical analyst with expertise in SQL, Power BI, and finance systems, who can facilitate data mapping, report specifications, and system transition while ensuring business users have access to accurate and actionable reporting tools. This role is mostly remote, with occasional in-office meetings (once every other week).

Key Responsibilities
Analyze and transition 200+ reports from Microsoft AX to Dynamics 365Collaborate with technical architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to map data, define reporting needs, and streamline reporting processesDevelop and optimize Power BI datasets that are business-friendly and enable users to create their own visualizationsAssess and eliminate redundant reports, ensuring only essential reporting functions are carried over to the new systemReview source code and report files within SSRS and other reporting tools to understand data structures and reporting logicAssist with data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes to ensure seamless integration into the new ERPSupport the documentation of key reporting processes, mitigating the lack of existing documentationCore Qualifications
Experience with MS Dynamics 365 (or similar ERP)Strong SQL skills for querying and data manipulationProficiency in Power BI for dataset creation and report developmentExperience with Azure and SSRS in a finance systems environmentAbility to work in a small, flexible team within a complex and transitioning environmentExperience with data warehousing and financial reporting structures is idealFamiliarity with finance and accounting principles to understand reporting requirements an assetNext Steps:
