PC Financial is looking for a motivated Product Designer Co-op to support the digital team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional design environment, learning from experienced designers and contributing to real-world projects. You’ll play a key role in assisting the team while building your skills in
user-centered design.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with intermediate and senior designer by assisting in the creation of user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas.Help the team conduct user research, including organizing surveys, assisting in usability tests, and documenting findings.Contribute to maintaining design libraries by organizing assets and ensuring they follow established guidelines.Attend meetings with cross-functional teams to learn how product design aligns with broader business goals.Assist in creating or refining small design components under supervision.Participate in design reviews, workshops, and team discussions to expand your knowledge and receive feedback.Help document design decisions, research findings, and project updates.What you bring:
0-1 years of experience in product design, with a portfolio that demonstrates potential in user-centered design.Knowledge of UX and UI design principles, Human-centric design as well as design tools like Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.Willingness to learn and apply design thinking methodologies to solve user problems.Familiarity with user research techniques, such as ethnography, usability testing or user interviews.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning new tools and methodologies.A Collaborative “yes and” mentality, strong communication and presentation skills.Interest in accessibility and inclusive design practices.
