Technical Lead for the Open Text Migration Project is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the migration and solution, ensuring the successful transfer of data, processes, and integrations to the new Open Text platform. This individual will lead and facilitate technical discussions with a variety of stakeholders and vendors, to resolve technical challenges, provide expert recommendations and effectively drive decisions.
The Technical Lead will also manage risk, ensure quality, and guide the project team through complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities
1.
Provide Technical Leadership and
Lead Technical Solutioning Discussions
- Facilitate and drive technical conversations, workshops, and resolve technical issues with project teams, vendors and stakeholders.
2.
Provide Expertise in Open Text Migration
- Oversee and provide subject matter expertise for the migration of Open Text environments from on-premise to cloud platforms.
- Ensure seamless integration of Open Text solutions with other enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Microsoft , Salesforce).
3.
Design and Oversee Complex Solution Integrations
- Lead the technical design and integration of multiple business systems, ensuring interoperability and optimal performance.
- Resolve issues related to development and deployment activities across various platforms.
4.
Apply and Promote Industry Standards and Best Practices
- Ensure all technical solutions adhere to industry standards, best practices, and organizational guidelines specific to ECM and Open Text.
- Stay current with new methodologies, tools, and approaches, and advocate their adoption where appropriate.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.

4. Open Text Migration & Enterprise Integration Expertise
- Demonstrated experience with Open Text migration projects, with a focus on migrating from on-premise Open Text environments to Open Text Cloud.
- Ability to oversee end-to-end technical design, development, and deployment involving Open Text and major enterprise applications (such as SAP, Microsoft , or Salesforce).
5.
Industry Standards and Best Practices
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and best practices specific to Open Text and enterprise content management systems (ECM).
- Skilled in systems analysis, architectural design, development, testing, and deployment methodologies, including tools and techniques relevant to content management.
6.
Specialized Open Text Knowledge
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of niche Open Text technologies, specifically Open Text Extended ECM (xECM) and Content Server, including configuration, customization, and integration capabilities
