Job Description
- Purpose/context:
Mitigate resource risk in the HCM workstream; drive data conversion/validation, mapping/specs, testing, cutover readiness, and post‑migration reporting/governance. - Key responsibilities:
pre/post data conversion and validation (record counts, key matching, reconciliation, transformation accuracy); build queries/validation scripts to profile data and flag gaps/anomalies; maintain data mapping and transformation specs (lean specs); support end‑to‑end transformation testing and validate downstream behavior; coordinate defect tracking and support approvals/sign‑offs (e.g., Jira) and governance; migrate legacy reports to Oracle/Power BI; test scheduled reports and role‑based access; cutover readiness (mock‑run timing capture, runbooks/checklists, issue tracking);
data quality/stewardship (HCM critical data elements, data‑quality rules, consistent HR metrics pre/post conversion); regular stakeholder communications and support for new/revised reporting processes. - Required skills:
hands‑on HCM conversion/validation/testing; strong SQL/queries and data mapping;
Oracle reporting and Power BI dashboards; cross‑functional collaboration; disciplined documentation and defect lifecycle management. - Logistics to confirm: hours per week; interview steps/panel.
- Suggested screening prompts: describe a recent HCM conversion with pre/post validation; design of queries/scripts to detect anomalies; migration of legacy HR reports into Oracle/Power BI and role‑based access testing; governance of mapping specs across mock runs leading to cutover; defect tracking and sign‑offs (e.g., Jira).
