Position: 2026 Summer - HR, CM Emerging Talent Intern (4 Months)

Job Description

What is the opportunity?Capital Markets HR is looking for a summer student to join our team to assist with the onboarding and employee experience of our incoming Analyst and Associate classes across Capital Markets. This role would work closely with the Global Emerging Talent Team to help improve and develop our processes and programs.
What will you do?
  • Support the development and execution of onboarding incoming hires including planning, creation, issuance, and new hire communications
  • Lead on event coordination and execution
  • Develop and update written material (web content, reports, articles, presentations)
  • Act as a partner to and liaise with HR colleagues and business partners
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline current processes
  • What do you need to succeed?
    Must-have
  • Enrollment at a Canadian post-secondary institution
  • Leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively and reliably under pressure
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to work independently
  • Strong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Nice-to-have
  • Previous experience working in a corporate environment
  • Experience or understanding of human resource practices

  • Please note: This posting is for a 4-months Summer 2026 Student placement with a start date of May 2026, and end date of August 2026. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:
  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2026 ; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in August 2026), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
  • Please ensure that you meet these eligibility requirements before applying - candidates who apply but are found to be ineligible are not able to be considered.
