D365 Finance Functional Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a D365 Finance Functional Consultant with strong hands‑on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations financial modules. The ideal candidate will act as a subject‑matter expert (SME) for finance processes, with a strong background in the Retail industry and experience integrating D365 Finance with B2C eCommerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of D365 Finance modules, including:
  General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Fixed Assets
  .
• Configure and support payment methods, bank reconciliation
  , and sales tax setup
  .
• Define and maintain inventory posting profiles and costing methods aligned with retail business needs.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integration with B2C eCommerce systems.
• Support financial close processes, reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Assist with testing, data validation, user training, and post‑go‑live support.

Required Experience &

Skills:

• Proven experience leading or supporting D365 Finance & Operations implementations.
• Strong functional expertise in GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets.
• Solid understanding of inventory accounting, costing methods, and posting profiles.
• Experience with sales tax configuration and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of payment processing and bank reconciliation in D365.
• Experience supporting or integrating D365 Finance with B2C eCommerce platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification(s).
• Exposure to end‑to‑end ERP implementation life cycles.
