Job Description

TD Fraud Technology is seeking a full‑time IT Development Manager in Toronto to drive transformations on the Customer Identity and Authentication Management work streams.

As an IT Development Manager, you will be responsible for building and leading a high‑performing team that leverages the latest Azure Cloud and real‑time streaming technologies to integrate with the fraud monitoring ecosystem. You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction and ensuring successful delivery of innovative solutions that enhance customer security and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Drive end‑to‑end transformations for customer identity and authentication management initiatives.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of developers focused on real‑time data integration.
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of solutions that integrate with the broader fraud monitoring ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, set priorities, and deliver high‑quality solutions on time.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence within the team.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
Job Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven experience with Spark Streaming, Kafka, Azure Databricks and Azure Data factory, and ETL processes.
  • Strong understanding of customer identity and authentication concepts.
  • Experience integrating solutions within a fraud monitoring or financial services environment is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; graduate degree is an asset.
Experience and/or Education
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology preferred.
  • Graduate degree nice to have.
  • 7+ years relevant experience.
