We currently have an indefinite contract role as a Boomi Integration Specialist - Hybrid with our global consulting client, working remotely. This is a 3 month contract initially, but will be extended based on project flow.

Duration: 3 months to start + potential extension

Location: Hybrid 2/3 days onsite in downtown Toronto, ON

Rate: $60 - $80 CDN/hr C2C depending on overall experience. Some flexibility on rate for senior level consultants

Our client, a global SAP consulting firm, is seeking to hire an Integration Specialist (contract) to support an ongoing project with a client of theirs. The focus will be on application integration.

Requirements

• Effectively leading the integration development operations on a project-by-project basis.
• Identifying integration requirements between enterprise applications, customer and logistic partner systems.
• Developing integrations using various connection protocols with Boomi iPaaS platform.
• Creating detailed designs to solve business requirements through integration at an enterprise level.
• Conducting process and product revisions to make sure that the Application Integrations continue to meet industry benchmarks and best practices.
• Working with internal and external stakeholders to gather integration requirements, understand the system and business processes, and collaborate to implement a solution.
• Being responsible for ensuring that all deliverables meet iPaaS technology and project standards.
• Interacting with technical team members such as Architects, Data Engineers, SAP Functional Analysts, Web Developers, and Network Engineers to ensure technical requirements are addressed.
• Creating a solid technical foundation for our business customers to achieve success with our platform.
• Maintaining proper documentation and knowledge bases of all Integration related activities.
• Leading Integration calls and set expectations required for all parties involved in the integration process.
• Training developers and other technical resources on Integration operations.

Skills and experience

• Experience developing integrations using the Boomi Cloud Integration platform.
• Experience or understanding of as many of these related areas as possible: XML/JSON messaging structure, Web services, SOAP and REST APIs, SAP integration services (OData), and Data Warehousing.
• Experience with Google Big Query or similar Enterprise Data Warehousing platform.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system is an asset.
• Experience with Boomi Flow and other modules of Boomi are an asset.
• Experience in Toy Industry or Consumer Packaged Goods industry is an asset.
• In-depth knowledge of iPaaS integration and features within the Boomi platform.
• Knowledge in various API technologies, and iPaaS integration standards.
• Experience planning and leading projects in a developer role.
• Experience with Jira or similar sprint management (agile) software.
