Job Description:

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst in Rating, you will serve as the functional‐technical bridge for rating changes with direct, hands‐on configuration in a rating engine (, Earnix, Guidewire Rating, Duck Creek Rating). This is not an integration‐only role—you will actually configure rating components and validate outcomes with actuarial and product teams.

Must‐Have

Qualifications:

Hands‐on configuration experience in at least one rating engine (Earnix preferred; Guidewire or Duck Creek acceptable). Strictly no "integration‐only” profiles.

Strong P&C insurance rating knowledge; ability to read/implement actuarial specs.

Solid SQL/data skills for rating validation; comfort with version control and environment promotion.

Excellent stakeholder communication and agile delivery experience.

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with Guidewire (Policy Center/Rating), CI/CD for configuration artifacts, performance tuning for rating throughput.

Responsibilities :

-

Own rating engine configuration: factors, algorithms, tables, rules, versioning, what‐if scenarios, and rollbacks; promote changes across environments with proper controls.

Translate actuarial specifications into executable configuration; build/maintain test datasets; partner with QA to automate rating validation.

Diagnose defects and triage production issues related to rating behavior/performance.

Collaborate with BA, PO, and actuaries on backlog refinement; provide effort estimates and technical impact analysis.

Contribute to configuration standards, reusability patterns, and documentation.
