Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and hands-on Corporate Cloud and Infrastructure Manager to lead, support, and evolve our corporate IT infrastructure. This role blends technical depth, vendor management, and strategic planning to support a secure, scalable, and efficient IT environment.

The successful candidate will provide direction and oversight across a hybrid infrastructure that includes AWS, Azure, and on-premises components, while directly engaging with our external IT service provider(s). Outstanding communication skills are essential, as this role requires frequent interaction with senior leadership, including heads of departments, technical teams, and external partners. This position is ideal for a technology leader who thrives in complex environments, enjoys remaining technically engaged, and excels at driving results.

This is a Hybrid Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert for all infrastructure technologies while owning the implementation and continuous improvement of the corporate cloud and infrastructure environment, with a primary focus on AWS and secondary Azure exposure.
  • Serve as the primary liaison and performance manager for our outsourced IT partner, ensuring SLAs, SLOs, technical quality, documentation, and strategic alignment with business needs.
  • Oversee and support enterprise networking, security, compute, storage, and collaboration platforms.
  • Manage data protection and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Provide oversight for business application hosting and performance in coordination with Business Applications teams.
  • Actively contribute to architecture, security, and compliance strategies, enforcing best practices and ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Maintain a hands-on technical presence, assisting with escalations, architectural decisions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute to IT strategy development in close partnership with the CIO and senior leadership team.
  • Qualifications

  • Proven hands-on experience with core AWS services, including:

    Amazon EC2

    Amazon S3

    Amazon RDSAmazon Route 53

    AWS Key Management Service (KMS)
    Amazon Cloud

    Watch

    AWS Cloud Trail Amazon  Elasti Cache
  • Expertise in AWS networking, including complex routing.
  • Experience with FSx.
  • Demonstrated experience managing security tools such as Cisco ISE, FTDs, DUO, Splunk, Algosec, Tripwire, and Qualys.
  • Proficiency in administering corporate systems including O365, Windows Server, Mac Server, Mimecast, Ring Central/VoIP telephony, and Veeam.
  • Experience with Meraki network devices and management.
  • Knowledge of PCI-DSS compliance requirements and cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and CIS Controls.
  • Strong background in vendor management, with a proven track record of leading and managing outsourced teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a hands-on technical presence.
