What is the opportunity?

As a Software Developer within the Platform Technology team, you bring the ability to effectively provide development, support, and release activities on strategic initiatives to various business functions within RBCx and its portfolio companies. This involves hands on coding, design and architect technical solutions, perform code reviews, research and adopt emerging technologies to keep product up to date. We are looking for a strong technical resource who can solution and execute to deliver front-end technical solutions leveraging JavaScript / HTML, PHP, WPVIP, and Git Hub.

What will you do?

• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development best practices.

• Conduct site audits to identify usability issues, design and technical improvements

• Ensure web components comply with WCAG guidelines, implementing semantic markup, ARIA attributes and accessible interaction patterns

• Monitor and troubleshoot plugin conflicts and system updates to prevent compatibility issues

• Translate UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, responsive web interfaces

• Create reuseable PHP templates and modules to support scalable page development

• Build user-friendly backend interfaces that are easy for non-technical users to manage

• Building exciting, customer-focused, engaging applications by focusing on software engineering / design / architecture excellence

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• 4 years development experience with PHP, JavaScript, WPVIP, Word Press, Git Hub and modern CI / Deployment processes.

• Solid hands-on experience using Figma, and Tailwind - strong understanding of responsive layouts, mobile-first design, etc.

• Hands on experience designing, developing, testing and troubleshooting RESTful API and interface specifications

• Experience with Dev Ops such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence and other similar technologies

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Understand Web Accessibility, building towards AA compliance

Nice-to-have

• Experience with Hubspot, Salesforce, and CRM API Interfaces

• Designing and implementing performance-optimized web animations using CSS, JS or animation frameworks
