Senior SimCorp Technical Business Systems Analyst Job Toronto area,Ontario Canada,IT/Tech

In this role you will:

Develop workflows, data mappings, and automation within Sim Corp.

Collaborate with investment operations and portfolio management teams to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Collaborate with integration teams to design and implement system integration solutions, addressing data-related challenges.

Support ongoing enhancement, upgrades, and integration efforts.

Interact with Business Analysts and Product Owners for requirement gathering, analysis, and providing technical support during project backlog and sprint backlog calls.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Sim Corp functionality and data flows.

Work in close collaboration with the entire Project and BAU Support teams to ensure on-time deliverables and project milestones.

Identify and implement internal process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce time expenses.

Participate in engagement with key partners and stakeholders to understand investment data and reporting requirements and participate in design, planning, testing, and solutions delivery.

Document configuration changes and maintain technical specifications.

Bachelor’s degree, with a technology, computer science, or business focus, or equivalent education and experience.

5+ years of hands-on experience with Sim Corp Dimension, particularly in configuration and development.

Proficiency with APL and C#.

Experience working in an asset management or financial services environment.

Knowledge of front-to-back investment lifecycle and data management.

Proficiency with agile methodologies and Dev Ops practices.

Strong understanding of investment management processes and IBOR concepts.

Experience with Sim Corp tools such as Data Warehouse, Compliance Manager, and Instrument Setup.

Proficiency in SQL and scripting within Sim Corp.

Familiarity with integration technologies (APIs, ETL tools)

Ability to develop positive and collaborative relationships with business partners and effectively communicate with both business and technology data stakeholders.

Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
