Position: SALESFORCE MARKETING CLOUD TECH LEAD
ROLE:
Salesforce Marketing Cloud – Senior Designer
TORONTO - FULLTIME - HYBRIDThe role requires hands on coding, strong technical expertise, solution architecture skills, and leadership in managing projects, guiding a development team through onsite-offshore model, and ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet business objectives.
Lead end-to-end architecture for SFMC Engagement and Account Engagement solutions.Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Content BuilderDesign cross-cloud integrations between Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and external systems via APIs, MC Connect, and Marketing Cloud Connect.Create data models and data extension strategies ensuring compliance with GDPR/CCPA and internal governance policies.Build personalized, dynamic, and automated campaigns in SFMC and Pardot.Develop complex SQL queries for audience segmentation and reporting.Implement AMPscript, SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript), and Automation Studio workflows.Oversee and contribute to Pardot form design, landing pages, scoring, and grading.Integrate Marketing Cloud Engagement and Pardot with CRM systems (primarily Salesforce Sales Cloud).Design secure API integrations with external platforms.Ensure data synchronization, deduplication, and hygiene across marketing and CRM systems.Mentor and guide junior developers, admins, and campaign specialists.Manage project timelines, sprint planning, and stakeholder communications.Review deliverables for code quality, scalability, and performance optimization.Ensure CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL compliance for all campaigns.Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimization strategies.Maintain platform health checks, release management, and documentation.Ability to conduct code reviews, solution reviews, and performance optimization sessions.Strong documentation and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.Technical
Skills:
Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio AMPscript, SSJS, HTML/CSS, SQL Data Extensions, Contact Builder, Audience Segmentation API development experience (REST/SOAP). Data modeling and ETL workflows in SFMC.Certifications:
