In the Software Strategy Group (SSG), you’ll work within the Execution team, providing Technology, Operations, and Financial advice to corporate and private equity clients. SSG focuses on Product and Technology competency, guiding clients in evaluating proprietary software for commercial advantage.
The OpportunityAs a Senior Manager, you will advise clients across software and tech‑enabled services sectors, supporting strategy development and execution throughout the M&A lifecycle. You will lead pre‑deal diligence, post‑deal value creation engagements, and technology strategy assignments.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Lead pre‑deal, post‑deal, and value‑creation engagements across North America.
- Manage engagement execution, lead teams, coach and mentor staff.
- Direct analysis approach, conduct qualitative and quantitative research, and lead discussions with clients.
- Develop insights, hypotheses, and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
- Execute qualitative and quantitative reviews (e.g., R&D spend analysis, feature benchmarking).
- Conduct in‑depth interviews with stakeholders and industry experts.
- Contribute to people initiatives: mentoring, recruiting, training.
- Experience leading complex engagements in private equity and technology consulting.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Passion for software and technology trends.
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; 6+ years software‑related experience.
- Prior functional head experience (CTO, CPO, CIO) or product management, software engineering, data science.
- Experience in technology due diligence or strategic value creation, AI diligence a plus.
- Knowledge of product management methodologies, UI/UX, software architecture, SDLC.
- Proficiency in English and strong report writing skills.

- Proven project and stakeholder management experience.

Competitive salary range for Vancouver: $144,000 to $216,000.
