IT Risk/GRC Specialist – 6‑month Contract (Hybrid)
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an IT Risk/GRC Specialist for a 6‑month role (possible extension/conversion). This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.
Responsibilities- Lead assessments of audit and regulatory finding remediations
- Provide advice and guidance on IT Risk Governance Control Frameworks
- Contribute to improving Risk Identification, Control Design, and Operating Effectiveness
- Identify emerging themes and provide specialized business management advice
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the three lines of defense
- 10+ years as an IT Risk Specialist with relevant experience in governance, risk and compliance management
- IT audit - IT Governance Controls and Standards
- Very strong communication skills – written and verbal
- IT governance experience in information security and controls risk frameworks
- Experience with evaluation of audit and regulatory remediation
- Team player – collaborate well with other team members
- Attention to detail
- CRISC, CISA CISSP certification or equivalent experience
