We are seeking a seasoned Quality Engineer with over 10 years of experience in software testing across various platforms including UI, Desktop, Mainframe, API, Mobile, and Non-Functional Testing.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both manual and automated testing, with hands-on experience using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, and JMeter.
This role requires a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD integration, and performance testing.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute testing across multiple platforms including UI, Desktop, Mainframe, API, Mobile, and Non-Functional Testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, and Python.
- Perform API and web services testing using both manual and automated approaches.
- Conduct UI testing and validate data using SQL queries.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker.
- Execute performance testing using tools like JMeter and Load Runner.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, BAs, data analysts, and architects to understand project requirements and technical designs.
- Construct test scenarios from business and functional specifications, ensuring comprehensive requirement coverage.
- Prepare and validate test data for positive and negative test scenarios.
- Identify, log, and manage defects; participate in defect triage and root cause analysis.
- Provide test estimates and contribute to test planning and scheduling.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote quality best practices across the team.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing across various platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cypress and Playwright.
- Experience with Sauce Labs for cloud-based testing.
- Experience with Jenkins, JMeter, and Load Runner.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation.
- Experience in automation scripting for Web and API testing (preferred language: Python).
- Proven experience leading QA teams and working in Agile development environments.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with mobility testing.
- Familiarity with JIRA for Agile project tracking.
- Exposure to the finance domain, including basic financial concepts and terminology.
