Salary range: $85,001 – $119,002.
OverviewAs the Network Administrator, you will manage, administer, and maintain Moneris’s network infrastructure services, ensuring a robust, scalable, reliable, and efficient on‑premises and cloud network that supports our business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and configure network hardware:
Palo Alto, Cisco, and BIG‑IP (firewalls, load balancers, routers, switches, wireless access points, etc.). - Manage LAN, WAN, and other related infrastructures.
- Handle escalations in daily operations, including service and change requests, incident investigation, remediation, troubleshooting, and monitoring.
- Provide rotational on‑call support for 24/7 production systems.
- Participate in projects—design, implementation, installation, and configuration of network infrastructure systems.
- Continuously monitor network performance to ensure stability and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct regular network security audits and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Plan and execute hardware and software upgrades and patches to maintain optimal performance.
- Maintain detailed documentation for all configurations, procedures, and hardware inventories.
- Document troubleshooting steps and network modifications.
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and other departments to meet organizational needs.
- Analyze network traffic and performance metrics; identify bottlenecks, optimize performance, and recommend improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience with firewall administration, design, and management (Palo Alto, Juniper, etc.).
- Required Cisco CCNA certification.
- Proficiency in network design, administration, implementation, monitoring, support, and automation.
- Strong experience managing complex network systems and multi‑site infrastructures.
- Experience leading projects and communicating progress to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in payment systems and the merchant acquiring business.
