Compensation: CAD 120,000 - CAD 130,000 + bonus + benefits

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The AWS Cloud Administrator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, and cloud security best practices. The incumbent will work closely with internal and external teams to deploy, maintain, and optimize cloud‑based solutions while ensuring compliance with security and operational standards.

The AWS Cloud Administrator will oversee cloud performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and cost optimization while maintaining infrastructure documentation and ensuring disaster recovery readiness. A key aspect of this role includes reviewing system requirements with a focus on efficiency, security, and cost‑effectiveness. In addition, this position requires expertise in Windows and Linux server administration, adherence to formal change request processes, and staying up to date with evolving AWS technologies.

Limited travel to plant and corporate locations may be required. The ideal candidate should have strong technical acumen, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to drive cloud initiatives that align with business objectives. The role combines cloud infrastructure management with SAP HANA expertise, ensuring the stability and performance of SAP systems running on AWS.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of proven experience as an AWS Cloud Administrator or similar role.
• 5+ years of experience supporting Windows Servers.
• 3+ years of experience supporting Linux Servers.
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification (Professional level preferred).
• AWS Developer Certification (Associate).
• AWS Sysops Certification (Associate).
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Ansible.
• Proficiency in AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and others.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud architecture.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with formal change request processes.
• Strong understanding of AWS services, including EC2, VPC, S3, EBS, and Security Groups.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Power Shell) for automating tasks and managing infrastructure.
