RESPONSIBILITIES:
Stakeholders
On Figma and designing
Connect with the manager and doing reviews
Participate in planning and facilitating Design Thinking sessions with stakeholders
Close collaboration with business and other experience design strategy teams to ensure that design intent is achieved
Advocate for the customer throughout the project lifecycle
Ideation, concept development and experience innovation
Creation of sketches, wireframes, specifications, prototypes, scenarios and storyboards
Close collaboration with development teams to ensure that design intent is achieved
Advocate for the user throughout the project lifecycle
Stay abreast of current design methodologies, practices and trends
Participation in observational studies, usability testing and other customer research
Effective communication of conceptual ideas, detailed designs, and design approaches/rationales
Job Requirements
A degree in design or a design-related discipline (industrial design, user-centred design, design strategy, design management, human factors, human-computer interaction, etc.)
Ability to work with and simplify complicated Flows
Ability to translate conceptual ideas into compelling customer experiences
Contributes to shaping the strategic experience design approach for projects and initiatives
Strong prototyping skills demonstrated through various techniques: sketch, paper, wireframe, video, or interactive prototypes
Expert with design tools such as Figma, Axure and Adobe's Creative Suite
MUST-HAVE:
5+years of experience as a UX designer – OCAD
1.) wireframes and prototypes –
2.) Figma - 3 years
3.) UX designer –7 years
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
NICE-TO-HAVE
Animation Skills – Page transition yes or no
Financial Industry experience yes or no
Knowledge of non-registered and registered savings products such as RESPs, RRSPs, TFSAs and FHSAs
Degree/Certifications
Required:
