Opportunity

In this role you will provide technical and consultative support to community members for software applications.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for third‑party applications acquired by TMU community members.
  • Provide user support and develop user documentation.
  • Oversee small to medium sized projects.
  • Administer help desk ticket systems such as Service Now.
Qualifications
  • Completion of a post‑secondary degree program in computer science or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a technical support position focused on applications.
  • Client‑facing support with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows and Linux.
  • Knowledge of shell scripting (e.g., Bash, Power Shell).
  • Experience with relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle SQL) and writing SQL queries.
  • Understanding of Payment Card Security for point‑of‑sale and e‑commerce solutions.
  • Experience with authentication services such as Active Directory, LDAP, and SAML.
  • Experience with web services (REST/SOAP) for data import/export.
  • Knowledge of Service Now administration.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Equivalent experience or a combination of experience and education may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
