QA Engineer Berachain

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to focus on testing our decentralized applications. The role involves front-end and back-end testing to ensure seamless user experiences and system robustness. Responsibilities include conducting pre-launch tests, reviewing system requirements, and tracking quality metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Front-End Testing:
• Develop and execute test plans and cases for front-end components.
• Identify, document, and track UI/UX bugs.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure high-quality interfaces.
• Back-End and API Testing:
• Design and implement automated tests for APIs and back-end services.
• Perform functional, integration, and performance testing.
• Ensure data integrity and security through rigorous testing.
• Broader Systems Testing:
• Contribute to end-to-end testing strategies.
• Participate in CI/CD processes with automated quality checks.
• Conduct load and stress testing to assess performance.
• General QA Activities:
• Maintain documentation of tests and results.
• Monitor quality metrics and suggest improvements.
• Work with teams to refine testing practices.

Requirements:

• Technical Skills:
• Experience with manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Proficiency in front-end testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, etc.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
• Knowledge of blockchain and decentralized applications is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Professional Experience:
• Proven QA experience, preferably with decentralized applications or blockchain tech.
• Understanding of software development life cycles, Agile, and Scrum.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
