We’re looking for a Project Manager based in Toronto with a strong foundation in website design and digital delivery
, who can lead web projects end-to-end while working closely with designers, developers, and clients. This role is best suited for someone who understands how websites are actually conceived, designed, built, and evolved – not necessarily someone managing timelines in isolation.
You’ll own projects from discovery through launch and beyond, translating design and UX thinking into practical execution while guiding internal teams to deliver high-quality, scalable digital solutions.
What you’ll do- Partner with clients to define business objectives, requirements, and project scope
- Plan, prioritize, and manage deliverables and resources across multiple projects
- Own the creation and management of:
- Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Collaborate with our designer to craft personas and information architecture for each new website
- Detailed project plans with milestones and dependencies
- Functional requirements, user stories, and development sprints
- Project estimates in collaboration with the delivery team
- Manage client expectations and scope, including leading weekly status calls on larger projects
- Oversee internal team resourcing, scheduling, and time tracking
- Communicate project status, risks, and progress clearly to clients and internal stakeholders
- Plan and execute Pre Design (personas and IA), QA, testing, and client training activities
- Share and help implement project management best practices across the organization
- Establish and document processes to improve delivery efficiency and consistency
- Support post-launch account management and long-term client relationships
- Assist with sales efforts, including demos and acting as a CMS subject‑matter expert
- 2–4+ years of project management experience in web development, ideally within a digital agency
- Hands‑on experience managing multiple web projects involving CMS platforms (Kentico and/or Word Press preferred)
- Proven ability to deliver complex website and CMS integration projects on time and on budget
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a solid understanding of web development workflows
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with project management tools, ideally JIRA
- Positive, collaborative team player with a solution‑oriented mindset
We are currently all working remotely 2 days a week and in the Toronto office 3 days a week.
