Eva Lee & Associates is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented French Translator to accurately translate written materials between French and English while preserving meaning, tone, and intent. The ideal candidate has strong linguistic expertise, cultural awareness, and the ability to manage deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Translation & Language Support
  • Translate written documents, correspondence, reports, and other materials from French to English and/or English to French.
  • Ensure translations are accurate, clear, and culturally appropriate while maintaining the original meaning and tone.
  • Proofread and edit translated materials for grammar, clarity, consistency, and quality.
  • Maintain consistency in terminology and style across all translated documents.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to clarify context, terminology, and translation requirements.
  • Manage multiple translation assignments while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Assist with maintaining organized digital files of original and translated documents.
  • Support administrative tasks related to translation projects as needed.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential materials with professionalism and discretion.
  • Adhere to company guidelines and quality assurance standards for translations.
  • Identify and resolve linguistic or contextual issues in source materials.
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in French, Translation, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in both French and English (written and reading comprehension required).
  • Professional translation certification or formal language training.
  • Experience translating business, legal, technical, or professional documents.
  • Familiarity with translation tools or terminology management systems.
  • 1-3 years of translation or language-related experience.
  • Strong grammar, spelling, and editing skills in both languages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document formatting tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently while meeting deadlines.
