Legal Counsel; in-house - Real Estate Development

Overview

Our client, a successful real estate development, investment and asset management company, with a proven track record of creating large scale, best-in-class multi-phase development projects across Canada and the United States, is looking to hire a Legal Counsel, reporting to the General Counsel.

• Assist and support the Company's development teams (planning and re-zoning, condominium processes, municipal processes, construction, permitting, condominium sales and marketing material, condo registration and closing processes, Tarion, purchase and sale agreements, etc.).
• Assist and liaise with external counsel on various transactions (financings, acquisitions, dispositions, corporate maintenance, HR matters, compliance, etc.).

• 3+ years of strong commercial real estate experience, particularly in condominium-related matters.
• Experience in construction, financing, and/or other related areas would be a significant asset.

Hybrid work arrangement of 4 days in office and one day remote.
