Position: Family Law Clerk - #16852

Our client, a modern Toronto law firm, is hiring a Family Law Clerk! The firm offers an excellent benefits package, a competitive salary based on experience, and a welcoming workspace.

Location: Office conveniently located near Downtown Toronto!

Responsibilities:

Assist lawyers in a busy family law boutique.

Liaise professionally with lawyers, clients, courts, and process servers.

Open, close, and maintain legal files.

Prepare drafts of correspondence, financial statements, affidavits, orders, pleadings, and other legal documents.

Arrange for filing and service of documents.

Manage timelines and bring-forward system.

Assist with other legal administrative duties as needed.

Requirements:

5+ years of family law experience.

Solid understanding of the Family Law Rules, Divorce Mate forms, and court procedures (including electronic filing).

Exceptional drafting skills (correspondence, pleadings, affidavits, briefs).

Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Divorce Mate.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
