Perform assigned work under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager to assist in developing, evaluating, and implementing Supply Chain strategy, policies, procedures, and management systems in the provision of Supply Chain support to line management. Participate in ensuring that Supply Chain policies and procedures are understood and enforced by all lines of business.
Job Description:
Education:
- Requires advanced knowledge of financial concepts, principles and related disciplines including purchasing, internal control, information management technology associated with the development of business support and evaluation policies and techniques relative to supply chain.
- Requires a knowledge of written and oral English in order to prepare reports and discuss recommendations with internal and external personnel.
This knowledge is considered to be normally acquired through the completion of 4 years of University training (Grade XII plus 5 years).
Experience:
- Requires experience within the Supply Chain management and control environment to acquire an understanding of Supply Chain practices and procedures approval processes, financial and information systems and controls and the structure and relationship of the organization.
- Requires experience to bee familiar with the financial administration and analytical requirements of the Company.
- A period of over 4 years and up to and including 6 years is considered necessary to gain this experience.
