General Description: A light duty cleaner is generally responsible for cleaning tasks including hard surface floor cleaning, carpeted area vacuuming, dusting, cleaning washrooms and kitchenettes, and collecting garbage and recycling.

Schedule: Part Time

• Build strong relationships, listen intently, and utilize clear & transparent communication.
• Participate in all required training.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations as outlined by the company.
• Sweep/dry mop, wash/buff floors and stairwells using manual and power scrubbing equipment as applicable.
• Vacuum carpets and matting in offices and common areas. Spot‑clean daily and shampoo directed rugs in assigned buildings.
• Maintain and conduct preventative maintenance on floor machines, vacuums, automatic scrubbers, and buffers.
• Empty garbage and recycling containers, replace liners, and transport waste to collection points.
• Ensure washrooms and kitchens/kitchenettes are fully cleaned, including surface disinfection and polishing fixtures and appliances, door handles, walls, mirrors, countertops, partitions, and floors.
• Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, hand towels, soap, and sanitizer.
• Spot‑clean walls, doors, kick plates, etc., removing marks and smudges from vertical surfaces.
• Clean elevators as applicable.
• Monitor possible defects such as clogged urinals and lights out.
• Perform high dusting and wall washing.
• Additional duties as required.

• Can take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Attention to detail, pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Experience with auto scrubbers is an asset.
• Dependable and have reliable transportation.

Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check.
