Manufacturing Technician - Cartridge Assembly

* Position Summary:

** The qualified individual will be responsible for various aspects of product assembly and testing. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to assemble and use complex instruments and assemblies. Some of the major areas of responsibility are, but not limited to the following.
*
* Key Responsibilities:

*** Visually inspect, assemble and test cartridges or sub-assemblies using approved assembly procedures.
* Able to follow all work instructions and procedures and record all production information as required
* Ability to use a computer to perform tests, download information or record test data.
* Ability to work with a microscope for extended periods of time
* Able to use and maintain hand tools and various types of equipment to assemble and test cartridges
* Good hand eye coordination, stable hands for delicate component assembly
* Comply with gowning protocols as required and maintain a clean, orderly and organized work area.
** Job Qualifications

* Education and Experience:

*** Attention todetail
* Good communications skills (written and oral)
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Experience working with Gas Chromatography (GC) Columns or microfluidics assembly a plus
* Experience in electronic or medical device assembly a plus
