Job Title: MIG / TIG Welder
Location: Scarborough, Ontario (near Kennedy Rd & Finch Ave)

Hours:

Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM;
Friday, 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience)

This role supports welding operations at a modern metal fabrication facility and focuses primarily on MIG welding, with some TIG welding as required. Responsibilities include welding custom metal components, reading blueprints, using fabrication tools, and assisting with production tasks as needed. TIG training may be provided for candidates with limited experience.

• Perform MIG welding on custom metal components with accuracy and consistency
• Support TIG welding activities when required
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Operate hand tools, tack welders, and measuring instruments
• Inspect welds to ensure adherence to company quality standards
• Assist with other production or fabrication tasks as needed

• Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience
• TIG welding experience (6-12 months preferred) or willingness to learn
• Ability to interpret blueprints and follow technical instructions
• Skilled in the use of hand tools and measuring devices
• Physically able to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs
• CWB certifications considered an asset
• CSA-approved steel-toed safety footwear required
• Adaptable and able to assist across departments when required

• Work is performed in a metal fabrication shop with active welding and cutting equipment
• Exposure to heat, sparks, fumes, and machinery is typical
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times
• Work environment is safety-focused and fast-paced
