Extrusion Operator
A leading manufacturer of high-quality plastic packaging products is looking for Blown Film Extrusion Operators to join our production team in Etobicoke.
This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical skills who enjoy working with industrial equipment and want long‑term growth in a stable manufacturing environment.
Location:
Etobicoke
Shift: Rotating Continental (12‑hour shifts, days & nights)

- Set up, operate, and monitor blown film extrusion lines to meet daily production targets
- Load resins, adjust machine parameters, and calibrate equipment for consistent film quality
- Inspect film thickness, clarity, and strength to ensure products meet specifications
- Track and verify material usage, inventory, and work‑in‑progress data
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance to keep lines running efficiently
- Train and guide new operators, assistants, and crew members
- Collaborate with technicians, quality inspectors, and supervisors to resolve issues and support smooth operations
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the extrusion department
- Experience operating and maintaining extrusion machines (Experience with Inline Press is a plus!)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to perform basic measurements and follow written procedures
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment
- Solid attention to detail, quality, and safety
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as needed
