Our client, a company in Food Flavoring Manufacturing industry, is seeking a Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position plays a key role in producing high-quality liquid and powder flavors used in food and beverage applications. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a hands-on production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare liquid and powder flavors in accordance with approved formulations and batch instructions.
- Accurately weigh, measure, and blend raw materials and aroma chemicals.
- Operate and monitor production equipment including mixers, blenders, spray dryers, and related systems.
- Safely handle and transport raw materials and finished products, including lifting heavy containers when required.
- Maintain precise batch records, labels, and documentation in line with company procedures.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain equipment and work areas between production runs to ensure product integrity.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), as well as all safety and environmental regulations.
- Work efficiently in environments that may involve noise, dust, or strong aromas.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to maintain production schedules and meet quality goals.
- Technical or manufacturing training is an asset.
- Previous experience in food, flavor, or chemical production preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Basic math and computer skills required for weighing materials and completing batch records.
- Ability to lift 25–30 kg, and ability to work in standing position for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting with variable conditions.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and high product quality standards.
- Manufacturing plant environment with regular exposure to noise, dust, and strong aromas.
- Frequent standing, bending, and lifting.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required at all times.
