Social Media & Outreach Support Coordinator
An online retraining organization specializing in generative AI, coding and cyber security course delivery for Canadian and US Military Veterans is looking for a savvy Social Media & Outreach Support Coordinator.
You will work with a team of professionals where you will handle social media and outreach activities in addition to supporting event engagement and general administrative duties. There will be significant project managing requirements related to this job. The person selected for this position will be responsible for assisting and coordinating winning strategies, plans and resources around our outreach operations.
This is a full time position, in-person at our office in downtown Toronto. We need someone with experience who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete those tasks with minimal hand holding.
Qualifications- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities to foster relationships and support outreach efforts
- Knowledge of social media platforms and content creation
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Experience in the education or non-profit sector is an asset
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Should have experience with Canva and/or other creative programs
- Knowledge of using
- Coordinate our company profile on various social media platforms and other communication channels while enhancing our SEO marketing. This includes organic social media management, posting calendar management, and community moderation.
- Email campaign creation and management.
- Work on Google, Facebook and related ad platforms.
- Create reports on outreach activities and interpret results.
- Coordinate outreach strategies for student enrollment and program awareness in Canada and the US.
- Support and organize outreach events.
- Occasionally, there will be travel required to military bases and other related student recruitment.
Full-time, Permanent. Salary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year (depending on experience).
